Magesh T. Rajan, Ph.D., P.E., MBA, is a senior higher education executive with a track record of building ecosystems that sustain student opportunity, strengthen institutions and expand public impact. His work connects research growth, innovation strategy, economic development and student success into a larger model for institutional transformation.
Since 2019, Rajan has served as vice president for Research, Innovation and Economic Development at Prairie View A&M University, a member of The Texas A&M University System. In this role, he leads the university’s research and innovation enterprise, including research advancement, sponsored programs, compliance, undergraduate research, commercialization, strategic partnerships and economic development.
